Who built this

Built by the guy who had to fill it out.

Dillon McQueen, founder of FORA

Fifteen years in heavy civil. Water, sewer, infrastructure, and everything in between.

I worked for small and mid-sized companies my whole career. The kind that know exactly what is broken and cannot justify twenty grand a year to fix it. Everyone else in this industry gets software. They get a binder.

So I built it from the operator's point of view. Not from a product manager's whiteboard. I am still on a machine, which is where the ideas come from.

FORA mission statement: No suits, no BS, just results. We stand with the people. Real conversations, straight answers. Your time matters, your business matters.

Built for four people at once

Most software here solves for one of them.

The operator

Passwords on a scrap of paper in the truck. Phone, cold, gloves on. It still has to work.

The safety coordinator

Every FLHA, incident and ticket in one place, ready when an auditor asks.

The operations manager

Which machine got flagged, what is overdue, what expires this month.

The owner

One bill, one login, and numbers for the insurer without chasing anyone.

No suits. No bs. Just results.

FORA is an insured, registered business in Central Alberta. There is no support queue and no account manager. You email the person who writes the code, and he emails you back.
What that means for you

The trade-offs, said out loud.

What you getWhat you don't
A straight answer on price, in an email, same weekA 45 minute discovery call before anyone will tell you a number
Software shaped by someone who has run the machineA feature roadmap set by whichever enterprise client shouted loudest
Changes made because you asked for themA support ticket queued behind four hundred other companies
A price built for a small contractorA sales team, a booth at the trade show, and the markup that pays for both

Tell me what you hate doing on paper.

That is genuinely the whole pitch. You will hear back from me, not from a sales team.
